Master of Arts Chris Van Peteghem opened Mandarins Gallery in 2011. After having spent more than 15 years specializing in Chinese culture, performing arts and fine arts, he finally established his own art space in the city of Antwerp in Belgium.

Different from many galleries that solely promote well-known Chinese artists, Mandarins Gallery also wants to focus on the promotion of new Chinese contemporary artists. Mandarins shows a wide range of  talented artists using different media such as oil and ink painting, sculpture, drawing, photography and video art.

Art collectors and conoisseurs who appreciate and acknowledge China’s  unique contemporary art scene are welcome to visit our exhibitions. It is the mission of Mandarins Gallery to promote Chinese emerging artists by showing their works through solo exhibitions and art fairs in Europe. Together with these artists, Mandarins Gallery wants to demonstrate the ever-changing dynamism of Chinese art.
